Te Tai o Poutini West Coast Multicultural Council was established in 2021 to support the integration, safety, and connection of migrants, newcomers, and local people of the West Coast region in the South Island.
They wanted the logo to represent diversity as well as the characteristics of the West Coast’s landscape and beauty.
The Concept
Since my friend was one of the founding members of the council I volunteered to design their brand for them. They gave me creative freedom but had 2 requests: they wanted to represent the diversity of different cultures as well as the beauty & characteristics of the West Coast landscape.
This is one of my proudest projects and it was such a pleasure to be a part of the establishment of the council.
